"Miss Tanya is an inspiration to us all!"
"I recommend Stars of Tomorrow to everyone I possibly can. The genuinely sweet and knowledgeable staff is what keeps my family coming back year after year. We stepped into a “new family” when we walked through the doors 7 years ago. I could never find anyone I could trust with my family more than Tanya and her staff. Tanya is truly a wonderful role model for my girls. I thank her for the memories made and look forward to the new dance experiences to come. She is an inspiration to us all!"

"At Stars of Tomorrow my child always feels like a star "
"Stars of Tomorrow is like a second home to my daughter Sarah. She has been attending Stars of Tomorrow for 3 years now and has grown both as a dancer and a person. Her confidence level has risen so much over the past 3 years. She loves dancing more and more! At Stars of Tomorrow my child always feels like a star!"
– Christine Murphy
For our younger dancers we have the "Rising Stars Program". It is designed specifically for young dancers Age 2 1/2 to 7.
For ages 8 & up we offer a progressive syllabus which ensures that each child complete one level before moving on to the next.
Levels are determined by our staff and are based upon age and skill level, as well as years of experience. This is so our seasoned dancers can advance, while our new dancers can learn in a comfortable environment where they don't have to feel intimidated or frustrated.
We offer dance classes in the following disciplines to our 8yr olds & up:
This style of dance isolates the foot to create various sounds, focusing on both energy and rhythm. Dress code is leotard or dance top, shorts with tights or dance pants. Tap 1 & Tap 2 wear tan tap shoes in the recital. Tap 3 & Tap 4 wear black split sole tap shoes in the recital.
This style of dance is energetic and sharp movements with the body. Focusing on strength and flexibility, athletic leaps and turns are taught to fast-paced music. Dress code is leotard or dance top, shorts with tights or dance pants. All classes wear tan jazz shoes in the recital.
This style of dance is referred to as the core of all dance styles. This classical dance form is characterized by grace and precision of movement. More advanced dancers will learn to perform the technique “en pointe,” as determined by our instructors. Dress code is a black leotard and pink tights with hair in a bun. All classes wear pink ballet slippers in the recital.
This style of dance is based on the elements of contraction and breath to use the body as a vehicle for movement. Dress code is a leotard or dance top, shorts with footless tights or dance pants. All classes use their bare feet in class and performance.
This style of dance combines technique and styles from jazz, ballet and modern. It focuses specifically on the story and the emotions of the music. Dancers must be enrolled in a ballet class to enroll in lyrical. Dress code is a leotard or dance top, shorts with tights or dance pants. All classes wear nude Foot Undeez in the recital.
This style of dance is truly part of a whole culture of music and movement. It is most simply described as choreography to urban themed music, widely viewed on MTV. Dress code is a leotard or dance top, shorts with tights or dance pants. Knee pads are recommended. All classes wear black hip hop sneakers in the recital.
This style of dance is another culture all its own. Most simply stated, Breakdancing is a rapid style of movement, involving acrobatic like movements in which different parts of the body touch the ground, usually performed to the rhythm of rap music. Dress code is a T-shirt and shorts or sweatpants. This class wears black hip hop sneakers or street shoes in the recital.
An extra technique class to supplement training in the style of jazz. This class focuses solely on the progression of technical leaps and turns, with little or no focus on choreography. Dress code is a leotard or dance top, shorts with tights or dance pants. Jazz shoes or Foot Undeez are appropriate. There is no recital for this class.
A floor tumbling class focusing on strength and flexibility for gymnastic skills. Using mats, students are taught handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, tucks, aerials, etc. Dress code is a leotard. Shorts are acceptable. Footless tights or bare legs and bare feet please. There is no recital for this class.
"Rising Stars" is a special program designed specifically for young dancers Age 2 1/2 to 7. Four levels of combination classes provide each child with an understanding of the basic dance skills they will need to "graduate" into the Academy. Class focus is on creativity, movement, motor skills, rhythm and musicality- as well as social skills.
"Rising Stars" Class Descriptions
Combo 1: This class provides a basic introduction into tap and ballet. A portion of an hour-long class is also devoted to "song & dance" as well as tumbling skills.
Combo 2: A follow-up to Combo 1, all dance styles remain the same, but feature a more challenging syllabus.
Combo 3: Replaces tumbling with a first look into jazz. The class remains an hour, but still provides a solid foundation for all three styles of dance.
Combo 4: A one hour class devoted solely to Tap/Jazz, featuring more advanced class work. Can be supplemented with Pre-Ballet.
Combo-5: A one and a half hour class with instruction in Tap, Jazz and Intro to Hip Hop. This class is in preparation for "graduating" into Academy level classes. Students will participate in 2 recital routines, with the purchase of a single 2-in-1 recital costume! This class can be supplemented with Pre-Ballet.
Pre-Ballet: A 45-minute classical ballet class designed to supplement the Combo 4 and 5 syllabus.
At the conclusion of the Combo 5/Pre-Ballet Level, the dancer will need to decide which style of dance they wish to further pursue.
Dress code varies for each disipline. Please check each disipline to learn the appropriate attaire.
